about Yael

I work with clients aged 17 and up who who are seeking support with anxiety disorders (including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and OCD), low mood, low self-confidence, identity development concerns, academic and work-related stress, relationship and family challenges, and uncertainty about the future. I also have specialized training in working with individuals with ADHD, and enjoy helping clients better understand how their brains work while developing strategies that allow them to thrive.

My approach is client-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and collaborative. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore, and process their experiences, thoughts, and feelings, and to work towards their identified goals. This involves my drawing from CBT, ACT, brief solution-focused therapy, and psychoeducational approaches.
