About Runyi

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) working under the supervision of Psychologist, Dr. Jeff Letourneau.

I take a collaborative and thoughtful approach to therapy and work with adults who are navigating a range of conditions, including stress, anxiety, and depression. I completed clinical training rotations at Suzhou Guangji Psychiatric Hospital, where I gained experience working with individuals experiencing a range of emotional complexities.

My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), with some integration of DBT-informed skills. What draws me to CBT is the process of gently separating what is happening from how it is being interpreted. This process can help bring more clarity and open up new ways of responding.

My training has focused on supporting individuals with empathy, responsibility, and attunement. I value the subtle moments of connection when people feel understood, respected, and safe to share their experiences. In our work together, we will create a space where what matters to you can be heard safely, and where we can work through things at a pace that feels supportive and manageable.
