About Laura

Are you struggling with unresolved issues from your past that continue to impact you in the present? Do experiences from your formative years negatively influence your thoughts and emotions, making it harder to live the life you want? Are there fears or uncertainties that are holding you back? If so, you are not alone. Many of my clients want to work on past traumas, self-esteem, and attachment concerns in order to let go of patterns that keep them stuck, improve their relationships, and get back to themselves. With 12 years of experience as a Registered Social Worker and psychotherapist and using evidence-based therapeutic approaches, I can help you explore and process your emotions and embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing.

My approach is empathetic, warm, and rooted in the belief that you hold the answers and solutions to your symptoms and problems. With this in mind, I create a secure space to help you better understand your triggers, draw new connections between painful past events and current feelings, develop self-compassion, and improve your emotional regulation and interpersonal tools to help you navigate life’s challenges with confidence and a sense of empowerment.

Together we can embark on a healing journey where there is meaning making, increased clarity, and personal growth. Let’s connect the dots together so you can live a more fulfilling and peaceful life - you don't have to do it alone! Please reach out for a free consultation if you'd like to know more about my approach and how we can work together.
